VAUXHALL STREET

A bespoke contemporary Australian home with Asian sensibilities.

Select grade finishes include rose alloy, calacutta borghesi marble, champagne terrazzo & juniper tufted wool area rugs to create warmth & texture.

The handmade antiqued cotton velvet & Italian linen for the master bedroom has been designed to compliment the feature wallpaper ordered bespoke from our atelier supplier in London, also applied to the bespoke bedside tables. The curtain wall fabric is from our curated studio textiles range in ivory stone wash french linen. Wall paint finish is ‘Limoncello’.

The living room is furnished with our bespoke Platform sofa, upholstered in copper cotton velvet & shaded by an ornamental Japanese maple tree.

The Platform sofa was designed bespoke for Vauxhall Street.

Inspired by contemporary Japanese design, the comfort of the low day-bed seat with loose cushion back fulfills the Client’s brief for group seating during film or sport viewings.

Shown here in our bordeaux cotton velvet with a black japanned base.

Special Finishes

Commissioned via our antique atelier in Paris, the Cerisier du Japon wallpaper has been installed with a wrap treatment in the upper level entry void.

Seen from the first floor viewing window as well as the streetscape, it is the defining statement of the Client’s personal brand.

A bespoke pendant light fitting for the master bedroom reinterprets ceramicist Stephanie James-Mantann’s porcelain beakers.

Suspended on a black vintage cord with polished brass stem, the warm light casts intricate shadows across the bedroom walls at night.

The Master Bathroom vanity basins have been elevated with a blue glass Fresnel slip bowl crafted by the glass artist Lewis Batchelar.
